The Digital Manager's role is to lead the Centre’s digital initiatives, and to expand online resources for the study of British art.
The digital has an ever-growing impact on all areas of work at the Centre, and as such we continue to invest in a robust digital infrastruture in order to establish ourselves as a vibrant hub for art-historical research, and to promote our activities, collections and publications to an international scholarly community. Flagship projects including British Art Studies, an open-access online journal, and a series of web-based catalogues which draw on the strengths of the Centre's collections and research interests will allow us to embrace the use of technology in the study of cultural heritage.
Prior to beginning his role at the Centre, Tom had worked for the J. Paul Getty Trust, the Getty Research Institute, the Courtauld Institute of Art, and New Contemporaries.
Tom holds both a BA and MA in the History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London.
